Astrakia Guesthouse is located in Kambos, Chios, 6km south of the city, in a 15 acre estate with citrus-growing, in the smell of lemon and jasmine. There are 3 large rooms on the ground floor of the Genovese Tower which retain the architectural style of the time, with vaulted ceilings and stone walls, and one on the first floor.
It is a stone-built restored tower that belonged to the Rallis family and was built in the 16th century during the Genoese period in Chios. Astrakia Guesthouse offers a peaceful and relaxing holiday in an idyllic setting, a 15 acre estate of mandarin, orange, olives and pomegranates that is being cultivated. You can enjoy traditional homemade breakfast with homemade jams in the yard of the estate near the mango and the cistern.
Kambos stretches over an area of 7 km long and 2 km wide in the south of the city. It is an area full of orchards with mandarin, orange and lemon trees. It is characterized by the Ministry of Culture as a historic settlement and its mansions are examples of Genovese and Ottoman architecture, magnificent with excellent pebble yards. An idyllic setting for rest and walks through the narrow streets with tall stone walls of thymusian stone.

“Ontas” keeps the roof in the shape of a stone cruciform. It is a spacious room that accommodates two or three people and its architecture travels to its guest in the 16th century.
“Mastic” is a vaulted room with a fireplace that can accommodate 2 to 3 people.
“Myrtia” is a large stone room accommodating up to 4 people. Its thick stone walls retain the arches that, for static reasons, were built by the Genovese towers of the towers.
“The Wooden” is a first-floor room with a wooden roof and warm colors. The veranda allows the visitor to enjoy all the magic of Kambos with the green of the orchards.
